Foothills Kiwanis Recruitment and Recognition Event

ome join us at noon on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month upstairs at the Wild Laurel Club House!

The Townsend Kiwanis Club will be hosting a membership drive and recognition social at The Abbey, Thursday, Sept 21st from 5-7.and we had a social event to recognize donors and recruit new members. The Meet and Greet was held at the Wild Laurel Club House on September 29th.

Logan Hull, Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center is presented a check.

Brigitte Anderson and Brent Musick hold a Letter of Recognition from Foothills Townsend Kiwanis Club to Sandy and Don Headrick, Highland Manor Inn & Conference Center. Highland Manor has consistently provided generous donations over the years to the annual fundraising campaigns.

David Wietlisbach, Heritage High School Science Teacher, is presented a check for a joint science project with Townsend and Walland Elementary Schools.

Steve Fillmore with Townsend Abbey was presented a Letter of Recognition from Foothills Townsend Kiwanis Club for his support and culinary expertise during our many pancake breakfast fundraising events.

Micah Vitale with Wild Laurel Golf Course was presented a Letter of Recognition from Foothills Townsend Kiwanis Club. Wild Laurel hosted the venue and offers us a monthly meeting space.

Carmen Simpher with Little Arrow Outdoor Resort was presented a Letter of Recognition for her contributions to Foothills Kiwanis.

Barbara and Malcom Johnson with Big Meadow Campground were presented a Letter of Recognition for providing the Foothills Kiwanis Club a consistent location for our pancake breakfast fundraisers.

Andrew Harrison, Product Manager with Genera, Inc. is presented a Letter of Recognition. Genera generously donates paper plates to Foothills Kiwanis for our Pancake Breakfast sales.

Connie Phillips, Townsend Elementary School, is presented a check from the club for experiential learning for students.

Guests and Kiwanians had a good time at the event.
